  • Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest - You explore a strange land, going into dungeons, meeting new party members, slaying monsters. Overhead turn based fighting scenes.
  • Earthbound - You are a kid making your way around a city, beating up bullies and other people and collecting items relating to a meteor that crashed near your house.
  • Secret of Mana - You and two others in a party (can be real or computer) explore a large world with real time fighting, like zelda.
