Captain Picard

     

     Name: Jean Luc Picard

Captain Picard is the best captain in the Federation of Planets. Given the flagship, the Enterprise, he commands over 1000 people on his ship. The Enterprise being his second command, he has turned down promotion 3 times to be able to keep his position as captian.

This tribute is to Captain Picard. In every episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation he manages to see conflict from a point of view that I would consider almost omnipotent. If all of the technological, sociological and emotional responses to a problem fail, Captain Picard can ALWAYS make some diplomatic solution acceptable to all in the last 3 minutes of an episode.

Here is to Picard, always solving problems, and making the galaxy a safer place.
