New page

Most laptops and desktops have memory card slots. If you also have Windows Vista or Windows 7 you can use the ReadyBoost feature to speed up your computer using a memory card.

This can work with SD cards, CF cards, SSD expresscards, PCMCIA memory cards, USB sticks, etc.

==How to use ReadyBoost==
#Insert the memory you want to use with ReadyBoost
#Open "My Computer" and select the memory you are using. Right click it and go to properties
#Look for a tab called "ReadyBoost" - If you dont see it look at special steps
##Click start button, and either use the search field or Run command and enter "services.msc" without quotes
##Find ReadyBoost in the list. Double click to open and set to Automatic. Click start and OK. Close all windows and repeat main step.
