Ubuntu: cant add vpn

While there can be many causes of this problem, one thing to try in restoring your VPN connection ability in ubuntu is this:

  1. Open synaptics package manager (all of this is inside package manager)
  2. search libnm
  3. update libnm-util1
  4. install libnm-glib-vpn1
  5. install pptp-linux

Open the add vpn section and see if that works.
